専門分野：地質学・古生物学

テーマ：
　白亜紀アンモナイト類を中心に研究を行っています。特に棒状アンモナイトのバキュリテス類の分類や古生態について興味があり、研究をしています。最近は、徳島県勝浦町で発見された恐竜化石についても発掘調査を進めています。
