The Tokushima Prefectural Museum is located in the Tokushima Prefectural ”bunka no mori General Park", which is lined with six cultural facilities: the Library, the Modern Museum, the Torii Ryuzo Memorial Museum, the 21st Century Museum, and the Archives. The Tokushima Prefectural Museum is labeled as "Bunkanomori" on road signs and information boards installed in various places.

■ When going to the Tokushima Prefectural Museum from the area around Tokushima Prefecture
From Ehime, Kochi, Okayama, Kagawa
※ From east of Hyogo prefecture, the high-speed bus from Osaka / Kobe (Sannomiya) is convenient.
※It is more convenient to get off at Tokushima Station and use the bus than getting off at Bunkanomori Station on the JR Mugi Line or walking.
1) Take a bus from JR Tokushima Station (about 25 min.)
◆ Please use the bus from JR Tokushima Station.。

① Take the direct bus bound for "Bunka no mori" at Platform 3 and get off at the end point " Bukna no mori " for 20 minutes.
②Take the bus bound for " Ichihara [via National Route 55 Bypass (Fureai Kenkoukan / Tomidabashi Dori)]" at Platform 3 and get off at "Bunka no mori" for 24 minutes.。
③ Take the bus bound for "Hokke [via Bukna no mori]" at Platform 2 and get off at " Bukna no mori " for 16 minutes.
④ Take the bus bound for "Shirasagidai", "Ichinomiya", or "Amanohara Nishi (Nyuta)" at Platform 3 and get off at "Sonosebashi" for 18 minutes. About 10 minutes on foot.
⑤ Take the bus bound for "Sanagochi Line Kamiyama High School" at Platform 13 and get off at "Sonosebashi" for 18 minutes. About 10 minutes on foot.

2) Walk or bus from JR Bunka no mori Station
Get off at "Bunkanomori Station" on the JR Mugi Line. There is the Sonose River in front of the station, so head upstream (westward) and walk for about 35 minutes.。
◆ When using a bus from JR Bunkanomori Station.
From the bus stop "Bunka no Mori Station East", take the bus bound for "Ichihara [via National Route 55 Bypass (Fureai Kenkoukan / Tomidabashi Dori)]" and get off at "Bunka no Mori" for 7 minutes.
3) Visit by private car
From the National Highway No. 55 Bypass, proceed west on National Highway No. 192 Tokushima South Loop Road. At the "Bunka no Mori IC (Exit)", go left, climb the slope and go left (south) at the first intersection, and you will arrive at the Bunka no Mori parking lot.
* There is a free parking lot and bicycle parking lot in the Bunka no Mori.
★ Using the highway
・ From Kansai (Osaka / Kobe), take the Kobe Awaji Naruto Expressway, go through the Takamatsu Expressway and Naruto Junction, and get off the expressway at the Tokushima Interchange on the Tokushima Expressway.
・ From the direction of Kagawa / Okayama, go through the Takamatsu Expressway Naruto Junction and get off the expressway at the Tokushima Interchange on the Tokushima Expressway.
・ From Ehime / Kochi, get off at Aizumi Interchange or Tokushima Interchange via Tokushima Expressway.

4) Use the highway bus.
The high-speed bus from Osaka / Sannomiya to JR Tokushima Station departs about once every 30 minutes.
There are many others such as Tokyo, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Okayama / Kurashiki.

5）Take an airplane
■Tokyo (Haneda Airport) → Tokushima (Tokushima Awaodori Airport) (about 70 minutes)
■Fukuoka (Fukuoka Airport) → Tokushima (Tokushima Awaodori Airport) (about 80 minutes)
There is a limousine bus (about 30 minutes) from Tokushima Airport (Tokushima Awaodori Airport) to JR Tokushima Station.

6）Take the ferry to Tokushima
■Nankai Ferry
・ From Wakayama: From Wakayama Port to Tokushima Port (Nankai Ferry boarding area)
■Ocean Tokyu Ferry
・ From Tokyo: From Tokyo Port (Tokyo Port Ferry Terminal) -Go to Tokushima Port (Okishu Ocean Tokyu Ferry New Terminal)
・ From Kitakyushu: Go from Shinmoji Port (Shinmoji Ferry Terminal) to Tokushima Port (Okishu Ocean Tokyu Ferry New Terminal)
From Tokushima Port, take a bus to JR Tokushima Station, and then take a bus from JR Tokushima Station to Bunkanomori.
